About Kevin: Dr. Kevin Snyder holds a career in higher education administration as well as motivational speaking. Most recently, he served as Dean of Students for High Point University in High Point, NC. He currently is the President and Co-founder of Inspir-Active Solutions, a Raleigh, NC-based agency specializing in developing custom-based keynotes, leadership development seminars, and executive coaching to ignite personal motivation, maximize leadership performance, and enhance workforce productivity. Clients include Anheuser-Busch, The American Marketing Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and many more. Through both Inspir-Active Solutions and his prior speaking career, Kevin has presented keynotes and leadership seminars to over 400 clients in all 50 states.

Following Kevin Synder, Robbie Allen will describe his path from being an intern at IBM to a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco to a Startup Founder & CEO and the disappointment of acheiving a 10-year goal. He'll cover how it was an easy decision to leave a lucrative job at Cisco for the uncertainty of a startup. And he'll share how he applies business lessons to family life and family lessons to business life.
About Robbie: Robbie Allen is the Founder and CEO of Automated Insights, Inc. (http://automatedinsights.com), a VC-backed startup based in Durham, NC. Robbie was formerly a Distinguished Engineer, IT at Cisco. He has Masters degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering and System Design Management from MIT. He’s the author or co-author of ten books covering a variety of technical topics. (But none of that means anything to his five year old daughter.)
